martell 1950’s CENDRIER

Original French advertising ashtray produced for the Cognac brand Martell. Made of enameled ceramic, with faceted sides and square shape, featuring its iconic label on each sides and the historic reference “ Cognac 1715 ”, the founding year od the house in the middle.

A true example of post-war French graphic advertising design. These ashtrays were produced exclusively for French bars and bistros and were never sold to the public.
